HOW WE HELP

GHAZMELTHERAPY is a holistic and integrated service that tailors therapy to individual’s needs. We assist you to find insight into your problem and support you to obtain solutions.

We incorporate following evidence based approaches into our work:

Child Centred Play Therapy is a non-directive, non-pathologising approach primarily used to help children explore their lives, express themselves, and communicate their inner experiences, feelings and needs through play.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy uses practical and self-help strategies that help change and modify habits of thinking, feeling and behavior. It is used to treat a wide range of psychological problems including anxiety disorders, depression and phobias.

Expressive Therapy is a psychotherapy that uses different forms of creativity (such as art, music, story) toward self-exploration and expression of thoughts and emotions in order to initiate change.

Mindfulness-based Therapy is a combination of traditional types of therapy, such as cognitive behavior therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Mindfulness is process of bringing one’s attention to what is going on inside and around us, in the present moment, and without judging.

Positive Therapy is based on three principles of hope, balance, and consultations. It emphasizes the positive influences in people’s lives, such as strengths, and optimism in addition to finding happiness in every moment.

Story-telling Therapy contains several different approaches such as crafting a story using client’s verbal cues, telling a story with hidden message to activate client’s unconscious resources, or retelling a life event in a different and more positive way. The aim is to form healing internal visual and mental images that delivers new patterns and more specific suggestions for change.
